Philanthropic foundation donates to support Tucson Police Officers Association’s Kids and Cops program
TUCSON, AZ (December 14, 2017) – The H.S. Lopez Family Foundation recently became a partner of the Tucson Police Officers Association (TPOA) Charitable Foundation, with a donation to the organization for its Kids and Cops Christmas event. Each year, TPOA takes as many as 300 kids to shop for toys and clothing they want and need. This year, the Kids and Cops Christmas event will take place at Super Target, 4040 N. Oracle Rd., on Saturday, December 16.
The Tucson Police Officers Association’s (TPOA) annual Kids and Cops Christmas received support this year from The H.S. Lopez Family Foundation. The event pairs uniformed police with underserved children, helping them shop for winter clothing and holiday items. In partnering with The H.S. Lopez Family Foundation, the TPOA will be able to provide many more children with holiday cheer.

The Kids and Cops Christmas event will take place at Target, 4040 N. Oracle Rd., on Saturday, December 16 at 8 a.m.
The H.S. Lopez Family Foundation’s recent purchase of a vacant Holiday Inn, and plans of converting it into the Center of Opportunity, is reported on by KGUN9. The center will provide education, health, and welfare resources to the public.
